Overview

Discover the treasures and the secrets of San Gimignano thanks to your experienced guide. Stroll around this beautiful medieval city and see the pearls that distinguish it: the Cathedral and the Collegiate Church with its magnificent frescoes, the People's Palace, the New Palace of the Podesta, which is now the seat of the city government.

Price includes: Guided tour

Available: April to October, on Saturdays and Sundays at 11am.

Meeting Point: Piazza Duomo in front of the tourist information office, San Gimignano.

Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Languages: English and Italian.

  • For further cancellations and no shows, the cost of the tour minus the reservation fee can be refunded

Your visit takes you along the ancient Via Francigena (the ancient pilgrimage road that connected France with Rome), which became the main street of the city starting from Porta San Giovanni and ending at Porta San Matteo. You’ll be crossing Piazza della Cisterna, the square of the Collegiate Church with the Palace of the Podestà (seat of city government) and the Salvucci towers. Of course, stops at the panoramic point and at the church of Saint Augustine with magnificent frescoes by Benozzo Gozzoli are included.
